- Google URL shortener website - http://goo.gl/
Not only does it make long links manageable, but if you sign-in to your Google Account, you’ll see a list of URLs you’ve shortened in the past. Click the “details” link next to any shortened URL and you’ll find real-time analytics data, showing you how many people have clicked on your links, with traffic over time, top referrers, and visitor profiles.
- Google Search Engine Optimization Start Guide - https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://www.google.com/webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf&pli=1
Contains everything I've been telling my clients for years. Next time some SEO company starts talking rubbish (keyword tags, anyone?) I can just throw this to the client instead of having to persuade them once again that the supposed SEO expert is full of crap.
- Google Font API - http://code.google.com/apis/webfonts/
Using this easy to implement API (one stylesheet link) I can now use any available font on my website. Its no longer necessary to limit your website to the basic fonts or use images for nice fonts!
